Technology that disappears into the room
The best automation does not make a home feel more technical. It makes everyday routines quieter. Morning light arrives on schedule. Bedroom shades close without walking from window to window. Full-height curtains move together instead of being pulled by hand.
My Walls specializes in the window-treatment side of home automation: the fabric, treatment style, motor, power source, control method, measurements, fabrication, installation, and final calibration. When the selected motor and your existing system are compatible, we can also plan coordinated control with platforms such as Lutron, Savant, Alexa, or Google Home.
This is not a generic smart-home package. Every recommendation begins with the architecture, the daylight, the privacy required, and the way the room is actually used.
One team coordinates the treatment design and the motorization, so the technology does not fight the fabric, hardware, or proportions of the room.
Control designed for the way each room works
Start with one difficult window or coordinate an entire home. The treatment, motor, controls, and power plan are selected together rather than pieced together later.

Privacy Scenes
Scheduled or one-touch control for bedrooms, nurseries, media rooms, and spaces where consistent privacy matters.

Coordination
Multiple shades or drapery panels grouped into a single room scene instead of a collection of separate remotes.

The right control method depends on who uses the room, how often the treatment moves, whether the home is finished or under construction, and which systems are already in place.
Remote Control
A dedicated handheld remote keeps everyday operation direct and reliable without requiring a phone or voice assistant.
Wall Controls
Discreet wall keypads or switches create a familiar, permanent control point that feels native to the room.
App & Schedules
Open, close, group, and schedule compatible treatments from an app, including routines tied to time of day.
Smart-Home Coordination
When compatible, shades and drapery can join existing voice commands, scenes, or home-control platforms.
Systems we can plan around, depending on motor and existing setup
Compatibility is confirmed during consultation. Platform availability, wiring, selected motors, hubs, and existing equipment can affect the final control plan.

The right system for the home you already have
A finished home, a renovation, and a new build should not receive the same default recommendation. We evaluate access to power, window size, treatment weight, expected use, and the level of integration you actually need.
-
01
Battery-Powered
A clean retrofit option for many finished rooms, avoiding new visible wiring when the selected size and treatment allow it.
-
02
Plug-In Power
Useful when a nearby power source can be concealed or integrated without disrupting the architecture.
-
03
Hardwired Systems
Often the cleanest long-term solution for new construction, major renovations, large treatments, or deeper home-control integration.
Twelve windows.
One coordinated scene.
A great room with twelve individual openings needed coordinated light control, not twelve unrelated remotes. The motorized roller shades were planned to move together and coordinate with the home's existing Lutron environment, preserving the scale and calm of the room.
From first conversation to final calibration
In-Home Consultation
We evaluate the windows, daylight, privacy, existing systems, access to power, and how each room is used.
Treatment & Motor Plan
Fabric, treatment style, motor, power method, controls, and integration requirements are specified as one system.
Custom Fabrication
Every shade, curtain, and track is produced to the measured opening, with the selected hardware and motor accounted for.
Installation & Setup
Our team installs, dresses, groups, tests, and calibrates the treatments, then shows you how to use the controls.
